Flashcards, progress, mood, streaks, dice and horoscope widgets
Flashcards with spaced review, Progress Tracker, Mood Tracker, Streak Counter, Dice Roller and Daily Horoscope: type data in, use My Data or read Notion.
These 6 widgets are free. Find them under Learning, Productivity, Habits and Fun. Until you add your own content they show sample data, marked “Sample”.
The first four have three data sources: Type it in, My Data (log on the widget, kept across devices) and Notion database (read-only, see Read a Notion database in widgets).
Flashcards
- Type it in: one card per line, written as
front | back(a tab works too), up to 500 cards. - My Data: create and connect a “Flashcards” table. Each record in My Data is one card (front, back, note).
- Notion: pick a database and match Front and Back to two properties, such as a word and its meaning.
- Review mode: tap the card or “Show answer”, then choose “Got it” or “Again”. Cards you know come back after 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 days; “Again” cards come back today. Review progress is stored only in this browser (nothing is uploaded; a new device or cleared browser data starts over).
- Browse mode: flip through in order or shuffled, without tracking.
Progress Tracker
- Bar, ring or segments, with an optional deadline that shows the days left.
- Type it in: set Current and Goal.
- My Data: connect a Counter table and sum all time, this year, this month or this week. The “+” button on the widget logs 1.
- Notion: count rows with a ticked checkbox (or a done-like status), or sum a number property.
Mood Tracker
- Tap a face each day to log your mood on a 5-point scale. Small shows today, medium the last 8 weeks, large a month calendar, with a count of each mood over the last 30 days.
- To log moods, connect a Mood table in My Data. To read from Notion, match a Date property and a Mood property (a number from 1 to 5, or options like Great / Good / Okay / Bad / Awful).
- The “Sample” source is only for previewing the look and can't log.
Streak Counter
- A big number for your current streak, plus your best streak, the last 7 days and the next milestone (3, 7, 14, 30, 100 days…).
- Count from a date: set a start date and choose whether today counts. Good for “days without sugar”.
- My Data: connect a Habit table and tap “Check in today” on the widget. Missing a day starts the count again.
- Notion: match a Date property, and optionally a checkbox so only ticked rows count.
Dice Roller
Dice (4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 20 sides, up to 6 at once), coin flips (up to 3), or a random number in a range. Results are generated in the visitor's browser and are never saved or uploaded, so everyone sees their own roll.
Daily Horoscope (just for fun)
- Choose the current zodiac season, enter a birthday to work out the sign, or pick a fixed sign. Each day shows a short tip, three star ratings, a lucky color and a lucky number.
- The tips are light-hearted lines written by WidgetStore and combined at random by date and sign (everyone with the same sign sees the same thing that day). They are not astrological predictions and don't come from any astrologer or organization, and the widget says “Just for fun”.
Data and limits
- Logging on a widget (mood, +1, check-ins) writes to your table and counts toward your daily writes: 20 a day on Free, 80 on Pro. See Limits and Pro.
- Widgets that read Notion: 3 on Free, 50 on Pro, sharing refreshes with Notion Charts.
- You can publish a widget to Community. People who copy it never get your data.
