Connected data: save as a table, show on your pages and charts

Once you connect Notion, Todoist, Linear, GitHub or a calendar, its data isn't stuck in one card. You can save it as a table in My Data to edit and export, and put daily numbers on your start page, your personal page and charts.

Save to My Data

1. Click your avatar → Settings → Connections, and scroll to Save to My Data.
2. Pick a connected app. For Notion, choose a database first. Others save right away: open tasks for Todoist / Linear, events for calendars, daily contributions for GitHub, links for Saved music.
3. Click the table name to open it in My Data, where you can edit, filter, export and chart it like any table.

• Up to 500 rows each time. Each item is saved only once; Update now adds only what's new.
• With Update automatically on sync on, new items are added the first time each day you open Focus, the browser extension or the Connections page.
• Stop updating only stops updates. The table and saved rows stay in My Data; delete the table there if you don't need it.
• Only fields like title, date, duration, priority and link are saved, never any keys. Each Notion column is saved as text, a number, a date or a checkbox.

The Data tile on your start page

On your start page, click Add → Cards → Data, then choose a source and a number: focus minutes or sessions, habit check-ins, to-dos done, Todoist / Linear tasks completed per day, GitHub contributions, busy time on your calendars, or the record count and number totals of a My Data table. The tile shows the total, today's number and a small bar chart, over the last 7 or 30 days.

The tile is just for you. It isn't shown when you share your start page publicly.

The Connected data card on My Page

In the My Page editor, click + → Connected data and choose a number. Visitors see the total and a small bar chart. The card has numbers only, never the titles of your tasks or events, and updates when you save your page. You can add up to 6.

In step 1 of Charts, choose Connected data to turn these daily numbers into line, bar or heatmap charts and embed them in Notion.

FAQ

Can other people see my tasks and events?

No. Start page tiles, My Page cards and charts use daily numbers only. Titles appear only in tables you choose to save to My Data, and My Data tables are private to you by default.

What happens if I disconnect an app?

Tables already saved in My Data stay, and automatic updates stop. Start page tiles and My Page cards show that the data source isn't available.
