Community templates: publish your widgets, copy others in a click

Browse widgets others have set up, preview and copy one to your account in one click, or publish your own. What is shared, limits and moderation.

Community is a gallery of widgets other people have set up, with colors, text and style already tuned. Like one? Copy it to your account and make it yours.

Copy a template

  1. Open Community and browse by Popular or Newest, a tag or a keyword. Only templates in your interface language are listed.
  2. Open one to see a live preview. That's exactly how your copy will look.
  3. Click Use this template. The widget appears in My widgets: copy its embed link into Notion right away, or keep editing it.

A copy counts toward your own widgets (Free includes 2 widgets), and templates of Pro-only widgets need Pro.

Publish your widget

  1. Set up your widget in the editor.
  2. Click the Publish to Community icon at the top, add a title (required), a description and up to 4 tags, then click Publish.
  3. You get a template link to share. If you change the widget later, publish again to update the same template.

Under Mine in Community you can see views, likes and copies, and unpublish at any time. Unpublishing doesn't affect copies people already made.

For now only widgets can be published; animated icons, animated backgrounds and Notion Charts aren't supported yet.

What's shared

  • Shared: the title, description, tags, and the widget's style and text settings. If you have a public My Page, the template says “By your name” and links to it.
  • Never shared: images you uploaded, My Data tables and records, Notion connections, check-in links (write keys), and anything logged on the widget. People get a copy with no data connected and connect their own.
  • Likes and copies are real counts that start at 0. “Official example” marks examples made by WidgetStore itself.

Moderation

Titles, descriptions and the text in widgets are checked when you publish, and inappropriate content can't be published. Moderators also review templates; ones that break the rules are hidden and can't be published again. If something looks wrong, tell us via Send feedback at the bottom of the page.
