How to install
On your phone, tap Download APK (on a computer, scan the QR code above with your phone) and wait for it to finish.
Open the downloaded file. The first time, Android says installing unknown apps isn't allowed: tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source for your browser, then go back and tap Install.
Open WidgetStore and sign in with email, Google or another account.
Where the setting is on popular phones
Xiaomi / Redmi (HyperOS, MIUI): if a security prompt appears, choose Continue installing; or turn it on under Settings → Privacy protection → Special permissions → Install unknown apps.
Huawei / Honor (EMUI, HarmonyOS 4 and earlier, MagicOS): Settings → Security → More settings → Install apps from external sources. HarmonyOS NEXT (5.0 and later) can't install Android apps.
OPPO / OnePlus / realme (ColorOS): Settings → Security & privacy → More security settings → Install unknown apps → turn on your browser.
vivo / iQOO (OriginOS): Settings → Security & privacy → More security settings → Install unknown apps → turn on your browser.
In 1.2.0 and earlier, Update could download silently in the background on some phones without opening the installer. Open widgetstore.net/android in your phone's browser, tap Download APK, then open it to install over the old version — your account and data stay. From 1.2.1 the app downloads, verifies and opens the installer itself.
Is it safe? Why does Android warn about unknown sources?
The APK is signed by us and only downloaded from widgetstore.net. The app only asks for internet and notification access — no contacts, photos or location. Android shows the unknown-sources warning for every app installed outside an app store. You can check the file with the SHA-256 above.
How do updates work?
Most updates need no reinstall — the app's screens update with the website. When a new APK is needed, the app shows "New version available"; tap Update and install it over the old one. Your data stays. You can also come back here for the latest version any time.
Will it be on Google Play?
We're preparing the Google Play listing. When it's live, install the store version over this one — your data lives in your account.
Is there an iPhone app?
No iPhone app yet. On iPhone, open your dashboard in Safari and use Add to Home Screen.
Does it cost anything?
The app is free. Pro benefits are the same as on the website — sign in with the same account.
