Cooking widgets for Notion

Recipe of the Day rotates one dish a day from the recipes you add (in order or shuffled), with cooking time, ingredients, short steps and your own photo if you like. The weekly meal plan holds breakfast, lunch and dinner for each day, highlights today and shows the whole week plus a meal-prep note on the large size. We don't pull recipes from any site or app — the sample recipes are our own simple home-cooking notes, labeled “Sample”.

The shopping list keeps your usual groceries in the widget; tap to tick items off and the ticks are saved to your own My Data, clearing every Monday (or daily). Cook or Takeout logs each meal and shows your home-cooked share, counts and spending this month. Kitchen Timers turns times like “eggs 8 min” into buttons you can run at once, with a chime generated in the browser.

FAQ

Where do the recipes come from?
You add them yourself. We don't copy recipes from any website or app; the sample recipes shown until you add your own are written by us and labeled “Sample”.
Where are the shopping list and meal log stored?
In a table in your own My Data (private by default), where you can edit, delete or export it as CSV. Connect a table in the editor's Data section first; free accounts can write to each table 15 times a day.
Do the kitchen timers keep running if I close the page?
The timers are remembered in this device's browser, so the remaining time is still there when you come back, but the chime only plays while the page is open.
Are these widgets free?
All 5 widgets on this page are free. Sign in to create them — free accounts can create a limited number, Pro has no limit.
Do they work in the Notion mobile and desktop apps?
Yes. Widgets are regular web embeds, so they show up in Notion on the web, on desktop and in the mobile app, as long as the device is online.
What language are the widgets in? Is there dark mode?
Widget text follows each visitor's browser language — English, Japanese, Simplified or Traditional Chinese. Most widgets also switch between light and dark with the system setting.
Can I use them outside Notion?
Anywhere that can embed a web page: Obsidian, FlowUs, Wolai, or your own website with an iframe.
