Budget and money widgets for Notion

The budget widget lets you log spending or income right in the widget and shows how much you've spent this month, what's left of your budget, a daily allowance and a category breakdown. Entries go to a ledger table in your own My Data (private by default), where you can also see monthly totals and category shares and export CSV. The savings goal is a jar that fills up as you save and, with a deadline, tells you how much to put aside each month.

The subscription tracker lists streaming, music, cloud storage, the gym and more, with a monthly average, a yearly total and the next billing date — you type the names and prices, and there are no brand logos. The savings challenge supports 52 weeks and 365 days; tap once each time you save and watch the grid fill up. On public pages, turn on “Hide amounts” to show percentages only.

FAQ

Does it connect to my bank or read my accounts?
No. Every amount is something you enter or log in the widget. Nothing connects to a bank, payment or investment service, and there's no investment advice or product recommendation.
Where is my spending stored, and who can see it?
Entries from the budget widget are saved to a ledger table in your own My Data, which only you can see by default. If the widget is on a page others can open, turn on “Hide amounts” and turn off adding entries from the widget.
Is it free?
Yes, all of these widgets are free. The budget log and savings challenge write to My Data: 20 writes a day on a free account, 80 on Pro.
Are these widgets free?
All 4 widgets on this page are free. Sign in to create them — free accounts can create a limited number, Pro has no limit.
Do they work in the Notion mobile and desktop apps?
Yes. Widgets are regular web embeds, so they show up in Notion on the web, on desktop and in the mobile app, as long as the device is online.
What language are the widgets in? Is there dark mode?
Widget text follows each visitor's browser language — English, Japanese, Simplified or Traditional Chinese. Most widgets also switch between light and dark with the system setting.
Can I use them outside Notion?
Anywhere that can embed a web page: Obsidian, FlowUs, Wolai, or your own website with an iframe.
